Job Type Full-time - Hybrid Description Summary: Touchstone Golf, one of the nation’s fastest growing golf course management companies, is looking for full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our Corporate Office, located near the Galleria (Bee Caves/Lakeway) area. Our office offers a casual, yet professional atmosphere where all are encouraged to be part of the development team. The Corporate Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support over 40 separate golf courses in California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma. Duties/Responsibilities: The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Sets up garnishments and responds to wage verification from the state.
  • May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Responsible for benefits administration and some accounts payable.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Administers 401(k) plan and files 5500s in a timely manner.
  • Completes EEO, workers compensation, and insurance broker reports annually.
  • Assists with the onboarding of new course allocations, including onboarding and setting up the General Manager and Department Heads with appropriate access in HRIS and various other accounts.
  • Reconciles payroll report to Health Savings Account report and submits contributions on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Compile 941s on a quarterly basis and W-3s on an annual basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Requirements Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet payroll deadlines.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
    • Ability to adhere to deadlines.
    • Ability to research, analyze and summarize data.
    • Ability to plan and organize workload with minimal supervision.
    • Collaborate and support teammates and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of employees.
    • Knowledge of Paylocity is a plus.
    • A valid driver's license is required.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for minimum qualification requirements.
